Something good just got better (I hope). Firefox is in their final stages of their version 3 web browser and needs beta testers (geeks that like to help fix really cool broken things.) Get beta here I hope their new browser will not only show me the web in all it’s disgusting beauty, but will send a message to all the staff at Microsoft every time someone clicks a link that reads “Iexplore.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. YOU should be sorry for the inconvenience.” Here are some improvements to the new Firefox.

  • Quicker page rendering
  • One click bookmarking with quicker personalization
  • A progress indicator in the status bar
  • Anti-virus checks
  • Extra Security for Extended Validation SSL certificates
  • Stricter SSL error pages

The full release of Firefox is expected later this year.
