Just in case you live under a rock like I do, Apple released the iPhone SDK today. Apparently its free but, it costs 99 dollars to publish an application. Considered yourself informed. Back to trimming my nails.

(and they never needed help to begin with) Infrared sensors that you attach to your glasses or headphones detect blinking commands that change the song. Taniguchi told reuters that the blinking interface requires the user to wink strongly for 1 second with one eye to rewind, use the other to skip to the next song, or close both eyes to pause and play. So now you don’t just have to worry about drunk drivers, or people who haven’t slept in a month. Are you running Ubuntu? Do you like to watch Lost online like I do? Well you can’t with Linux because the Move Network Player that ABC.com uses is only compatible with Windows based IE or Firefox. Install wine and you can install the windows based version of Firefox and watch all 4 seasons of Lost online ( other shows and windows based programs work too, but not all).

By default Ubuntu leaves out the compiz settings manager. This utility allows allows you to tweak all the settings avaiable in compiz so, it is kind of important to have.
Open a terminal windows and type:
sudo aptitude install compizconfig-settings-manager
That’s it. Pretty painless.
